The latest installment of Google Maps and Navigation has added Egypt to its ever growing database of places where the app can be used. So, if you were thinking about going to visit the pyramids but always feared getting lost in the process, worry not because you will now be able to use Google Navigation with turn by turn directions to know where you are. Well, you will at least have this option available as long as you have some battery left and have yet not succumbed to dehydration thanks to the scorching heat :p.
In any case, this major update brings all the much desired features to the good people of Egypt and to the thousands of visitors that the country has every year. Now we ask you not drop the ball on all the other countries still in dire need of said services. After all, not everyone can cough up $50 for a GPS application.
